The British Army Thompson Chest. (Yep we have them back in stock again). These are the general purpose storage and transport system for the British Army, used for carrying everything from food rations, First Aid & hospital equipment, radio equipment and vehicle spares. Each chest measures 35” wide x 13” deep x 20” high. They will fit in the load area in the back of a Land Rover and in the space occupied by a bench seat. Each chest has an aluminium twist lock door which lifts out for good access, two rust proof carrying handles and comes with two shelves. The Thompson chest is made of tough polycarbonate so weather is not an issue and they are very strong. Thompson chests can be used on their own or stacked together to make units, they cost £25 each or can be posted direct to your home on the UK mainland for £40 each.
