PUBLICITY EVENTS

EMLRA will also be attending the following events as a publicity exercise this year as a prelude to them becoming Club Events next year:

Dunsfold Land Rover Trust Open Day, Dunsfold - 7-8th September

International Classic Car Motor Show, NEC Birmingham - 9-10th November

EMLRA OVERSEAS

Howard Smith, EMLRA's North American rep, is holding what he describes as "a 101/Rover/Ex-mil kind of a gathering at our place over the Guy Fawkes weekend - 1st-3rd November (one hour West of Albany NY)".

And there's more:

All members/owners/interested parties are welcome. There will be the usual Bon Fire (NY law prohibits fireworks for personal use.. though they are sold just over the State line!). Plenty of off-roading and also some trail cutting to extend the work done at last year's party. Thanks to those that came :) Jared, Ben, Gerald, Tom, John, Matt and passengers.

Food/beer will be provided for the most part as thanks for those that show up and help with the trail cutting. Not sure about the high speed field and 101 racing that we got into last year - but you never know! Friday night quiz and 'feely - meely' also on the cards. For any other details - contact me at wreckerfc@aol.com. Just what a "feely-meely" involves is not revealed - and perhaps that's just as well...
