My name is Stephen Marsh, I am a serving Committee member with the position of General Secretary, I have been a member of the EMLRA for over 33 years and have served on the committee for more than 24 years.

Over the years I have owned many military Land Rovers and currently drive a Land Rover Lightweight GS Soft top fitted with Man Pack radios and normally towing a Radio Repair Trailer.

My love of Military Land Rovers started when I was about 14 years old and visiting RAF Marham with the Air Cadets. Instead of looking at a plane which we were being shown, I watched wide-eyed as a soft-top Lightweight with the canvas removed went flashing past the hangers and off down the runway, and I thought "Wow". I knew at that moment I would have one of those great looking vehicles of my own one day, and that love of the Lightweight over all other ex-military Land Rovers has lasted to this day.

The EMLRA has much to offer the enthusiast and the more you put in the more you will get out. During my time in the EMLRA I have had so many great times and have visited so many places with friends I have been lucky enough to meet through the EMLRA.
